Overview

Filter and Plenum Boxes are key components in ventilation and cleanroom air distribution systems.
They perform the crucial functions of air filtration, pressure regulation, and uniform air distribution, ensuring high-quality clean air in sensitive environments such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and electronics manufacturing.

Filter Housing (Filter Box)

The Filter Housing, also known as a Filter Box, is a compact unit that performs both air filtration and distribution simultaneously.
It is available in various sizes and configurations, with a low-profile design ideal for limited spaces.
Leak testing is carried out using an aerosol challenge test according to ISO 14644-3, and pressure drop is measured from the room side.

Key Features

  • Integrates all essential functions required in pharmaceutical and biotech facilities
  • Integrated control panel: All controls and connections are accessible from the room side
  • Easy maintenance: Quick and safe filter replacement
  • High reliability: Fully welded seams ensure leak-tight performance
  • Airflow regulation: Equipped with a Radial Damper for precise adjustment
  • Traceability: Each unit comes with a unique serial number
  • Factory leak-tested before delivery

Plenum Box

The Plenum Box is an air distribution chamber installed behind the filter unit.
Its main function is to deliver uniform, stable, and low-turbulence airflow into the cleanroom.
With its adjustable damper design, it allows precise control of airflow volume and direction.

Features

  • Ensures uniform air distribution across the filter surface
  • Reduces airflow noise and pressure drop
  • Compatible with HEPA and ULPA filters
  • Customizable for round or rectangular duct connections
  • Constructed from galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum with anti-corrosion coating
